I'm Samuel Soltész, a Storyboard Artist and Designer based in Bristol. I have six years of project work experience and three years of experience in animation. I am a bookworm who loves and collects children's, fantasy and sci-fi stories. I have a deep appreciation for black and white and ink art, but I also enjoy working in colour! I can adjust my style to what you and your team needs, be it realistic or stylised.
Let's work together!
Unreal Engine
These are environments made through kitbashing assets from Fab for the purpose of being used for virtual production (VP) 3D backgrounds. For the lighting I also created simple blueprints. I created the landscape, placed assets such as foliage, lighting and anything to create different points of interests to explore even within a small space.

Children's
A fun song and dance by Swirly the Chameleon.
I led a small team of five in creating a collaborative 3D children's animated film in three months during my studies, mainly using Maya. I held discussions on the tasks and roles we needed every week to make sure everyone is working on something they enjoy and the work gets done on time. I designed, modelled, rigged Swirly and animated him in a few shots. I also created a few background assets and created our poster.
Maya
I had created this model of a car as practice in one week, using layout drawings of an existing vehicle. I had no experience modelling a car before, so it was a nice challenge that made me more familiar with modelling in Maya and using the principles of 3D modelling for film and animation, trying my best to achieve good edge flow.
MicroStation
I had done six years of CAD solid modelling in international engineering creating complex hard-surface structures based on notes and sketches from the engineer, layout drawings, specifications and sometimes archival data. These models needed to be precise down to the millimetre. I was very well known for how quickly and accurately I made models.
