King Pig

The leader of a rebellion, Ismene, after seeing her allies defeated by the twisted followers of the tyrannical King Marcassin, decides to face him alone.

King Pig is an original Storyboarding and Art Direction project. Designed and boarded in Storyboard Pro for 2D animation, I aimed to create a style that resembles illustrated fairy tale books which I love to this day.

Beat Boards (WIP)

Work-in-progress panels illustrating entire sequences. Here, I focus on illustrating as much of a sequence in one image as possible, using perspective and depth of space to the fullest advantage. I tried to challenge myself with difficult shots, angles and subjects and whatever was necessary to convey the the story fully.

Character Designs

For this project, I decided to focus on using shapes rather than lines in the final designs. This allows for more detail while making animation relatively quick and flexible. I tried to use colours and shapes that fit the characters and tell their story.
